Empowering students to achieve academic success and personal growth
The goal of our school counselor is to give our students the support they need to succeed academically and in their lives. The counselor helps them figure out what to do with their studies, including how to plan, make good decisions, and understand different career options.
She also teaches them how to understand themselves and others, deal with challenges, and build good relationships with their friends. If a student is going through something that's affecting their schoolwork, she's there to help them through it.
Our counselor offers one-on-one sessions for students who need to talk about personal problems and also has small group sessions. In these groups, students learn how to listen, understand others, and get along with their peers. And when necessary, she will refer students for additional help.
