Our story

A model school for the application of computer science in education.

Aflon Digital Schools opened its doors on 10 January 2005 with 65 students. Two decades later we are 415 students strong, on a six-hectare purpose-built campus in Kuje-Abuja. We wish to make it possible for each student to develop their full potential in every sphere of human endeavour β€” with technology as the everyday medium.

01

Mission

To produce leaders of distinction and dignity, committed to life-long learning, living meaningful lives and serving society.

02

Vision

A model school where computer science shapes every subject β€” where students leave prepared for university, entrepreneurship or industry.

03

Values

Zero tolerance for cutting corners. Discipline, diligence, and the pursuit of being the best β€” in that order.

Why choose Aflon

Campus Β· since August 2019

Off-grid solar. Power doesn't stop the school.

102 solar panels, 40 kVA hybrid inverters, 60 kWh of Tesla battery storage. Save for an hour on Saturday afternoons when boarders iron their clothes, the campus no longer draws from the grid or runs generators. Built for continuous learning.

Boarding Β· since October 2013

Two hostel blocks. Routines that work.

Structured study, supervised meals and a quiet environment away from the distractions at home. Day students are equally welcome β€” the school runs a transport service. From January each year, evening coaching from 4–6 pm runs until exam season ends.

Houses Β· part of every term

Healthy competition. Four houses.

Every student is sorted into one of four houses on enrolment. House points run through sports, debates and academic competitions across the term.

In their own words

Voices of parents & students.

"What impressed me was the discipline. My son came home talking about coding assignments the way other children talk about football. Aflon changed his attitude to learning."

Mr. Adekunle O. Parent, JSS 2

"I sat for JAMB this year and scored 278. The evening coaching from January made all the difference β€” you can't cut corners at Aflon, and I'm glad."

Whitney K. Class of 2026 (JAMB 278)

"The Technology Learning Centre is what convinced me. Where else in Kuje will my daughter learn Web Programming as a real subject, not a hobby?"

Mrs. Bello A. Parent, SSS 1
