Aflon Digital Academy integrates the standard Nigerian-British Curriculum. The curriculum is designed to cater for The Early Years Foundation Stage, following the Revised 9-year Basic Education Curriculum which runs from Primary 1 – JSC III which was implemented by the Nigerian Educational and Research development Council (NERDC).

We have stated and integrated clearly the Seven Areas of Learning and Development, and care of children from birth to 5 years old. At this stage, we teach the child to learn through games and play.

The seven areas of learning are:

  • Communication and language
  • Personal, social and emotional development
  • Physical development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the world and Expressive arts and design

The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man’s intelligence itself, his greatest implement is being formed.
But not only his intelligence; the full totality of his psychic powers… At no other age has the child greater need of an intelligent help, and any obstacle that impedes his creative work will lessen the chance he has of achieving perfection.

We offer a wide range of subjects designed to help our students through life and prepare them for external examinations.

  • English Studies
  • One Major Nigeria Language (Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba)
  • Mathematics
  • Basic Science and Technology
  • Social studies
  • Civic Education
  • Cultural and Creative Arts (CCA)

  • And more…

The teaching environment provides both challenge and enjoyment.

Aflon Digital Academy at Kuje, Abuja has recently been transformed with additional facilities for Teaching and Learning Technology. It became clear in recent years that basic science subjects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics are no longer sufficient for the world of today that is ruled by technology. Technical subjects of tailoring, bricklaying, hairdressing, vulcanising, etc. have become quite inadequate. In the age that requires multi skills, we now offer additional subjects in line with our vision for imparting technological teaching at secondary school level, that are not available yet in Nigeria.

We have built a Technology Learning Centre through which four (4) new subjects going to be part of our Junior and Senior Secondary School curriculum:

  • Computer Coding
  • Mechatronics
  • Design & Multimedia Technology
  • Electrical/Electronics & Computer Technology

Education at Aflon Digital Institute is about challenge and enjoyment. It teaches the importance of constructive questioning and instils a sense of responsibility so that the boys can think afresh and contribute positively to the lives of those around them.
