Aflon has three educational institutions. The first is Aflon Digital Academy (ADA): a pre-primary, primary and junior secondary school that was established in January 2005. The second is Aflon Digital College (ADC): a senior secondary school that was established in 2011; while the third: Aflon Digital Institute (ADI) is our flagship institution started as far back as 1994 at Abuja.

Our parent company: Aflon Limited is a Nigerian company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in February, 1994. Since then, we have been at the forefront of ICT education in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) since 1994. It commenced activities under public designation as Aflon Computer Centre at Hali Brothers, Wuse Zone 1, Abuja. The two principal areas of operation were vocational training and educational publishing, both solely in the field of information technology. We have thus undertaken a variety of Information Technology related businesses and consultancies for government institutions and private companies all over Nigeria.
About Dr. Akin FAPOHUNDA
Aflon’s Chairman and Managing Director is Dr. Akin FAPOHUNDA. An alumnus of Ilesa Grammar School (1965 to 1970), University of Ibadan (1972-1975 and 1983-1986) and the University of Wisconsin at Madison (1978-1980); he served variously at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture (1976-1988), the Raw Materials Research & Development Council (1989-1991), the Director; Planning Research & Data Bank: National Agricultural Land Development Authority(1992-1999) and finally as the Director; Space Science Office in the Office of the Secretary to the Federal Government of the Federation, from where he Voluntarily Retired in December, 2000.
Dr. Fapohunda is a Visiting Senior Lecturer in Multimedia Technology and Digital Image Processing at Bingham University, Karu, Abuja; and an IT Adviser to the Planning Group of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State. Since September 2009 to date, he has been the IT Examination Consultant to the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) for the Selection and Appointment of Permanent Secretaries from among Directors. He has thus been part of the processes for the selection and appointment all currently serving Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Public Service, at Abuja.
On January 18, 2013 was nominated by the National Planning Commission to serve as a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Development of the National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP), 2014 to 2044 for Nigeria. He was subsequently elected as the Coordinator of the ICT Sub-Panel.
He was first elected in 2009 and re-elected in 2011 as the representative of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) into the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria); where he is the Chairman of the Committee to fast track the review of the IT Curriculum at all levels of the Nigerian educational system. Dr Akin Fapohunda was in December, 2013 elected a Professional Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society.
